Welcome new NJIT Highlanders! Transfer Orientation will give you the opportunity to understand more about the resources available to you at NJIT, meet other students, take a tour, learn about campus life, and take care of your picture ID and parking pass.

What are my transport/parking options?
- Please park in the Parking Deck on Summit Street (enter at Colden and Warren Streets). No parking pass will be needed.
Where do I check in?
- Please check in at the Campus Center Atrium.
What should I bring?
- Pen
- UCID and password
- Health Services packet http://www.njit.edu/healthservices
- One form of identification with a photo (driver’s license, School ID)
What if I can't make it?
- You are welcome to take care of your needs on your own time. In fact, it is highly recommended that you attend an Advising and Registration workshop prior to orientation to make sure you get the classes that you need and get credit evaluated. Please see our website for complete information for transfer students or contact the Center for Student Success for more support on transferring to NJIT.
Can I bring a family member or guest?
- The program is designed for students and is not meant to accommodate parents or guests, however, they are welcome to join you at a cost.

The Center for Student Success supports undergraduate students through their transition into NJIT and throughout their time as undergraduate students. Services include placement testing, new student and parent orientation, academic advisement, disability support services, and learning support.
